Rich Lyga: Speechless
Tonight on The Sound we dive into a home brewed instrumental album by Rich Lyga of Hallowed Ground. Rich has been part of the Winona area music scene for over 30 years and is most known in the area for fronting local metal band Hallowed Ground. Rich’s 3rd and latest album, titled Speechless, is a collection of instrumental tracks that show off his songwriting and his prowess on the guitar. Rich joined KQAL’s Bill Stoneberg in the studio to talk about the making of the new album, his thoughts on writing instrumental music versus music with vocals and plans for Hallowed Ground to start playing live again.
